Bioplastic
Bioplastic refers to plastic made from plant or other biological materials instead of petroleum. PLA (poly-lactic acid) is commonly made from sugar and corn starch. It is biodegradable and carbon-neutral. It is one of the frequently used bioplastics in the market, such as packaging, 3d printing, and single-use tableware.
